4/10/2023 0 Comments Goldencheetah workout codeOn some rides I get error messages saying (for example) "Warning: 19.883 minutes into the ride, time jumps backwards by 0.050 minutes ignoring it. My going to the rides in questions and looking at the file second by second - I could see that for a few seconds - the values registered twice. As I said - the metrics just went wonky in the past few days - even though these rides were entered ages ago. The offending values were from a few rides in the past 6 months. I fixed the problem - but am still unsure as to why it happened out of the blue. If they are still high after a refresh then if you could send me the file that generates the weird value i'll try and work out what is going wrong and raise a bug report. The metrics will get refreshed when you replot. Try deleting metricDB from your ride file directory (click on the lin in the about box). The xPower numbers (the red line) show the typical intensity of the Training Load you do in the week - the higher the higher average intensity - again not really enough data. This is not a particularly high training load (Even just in the workouts I have power for which is all I put into GC but ride without power commuting and offroad) I average at least 350 a week. The power graph is showing that you did not a lot of work on the first week (ending Nov 3 and then a little more every week until the last where you scaled it back. In reality you're nothing like as stress as it suggests - you need to load more data! Ths Stress Balance is showing as massively fatigued because of this. So the LTS and STS will just be rising (because you weren't really on 0 at the start of the 4 weeks but had all the stress from the previous weeks riding. So with only 4 weeks data, there's essentially insufficient data for it to be meaningful - it's your Long Term Stress - and 4 weeks isn't long. Could someone help explain these graphs to me? I have only uploaded 4 weeks or so of riding, have entered my most recent FTP test result and started the LTS at 0. I' d backup the whole directory myself since you probably want to save your rides too If you save metadata.xml somewhere you will have it backed up. The setup is all stored in metadata.xml which can be found in your ride directory (the about box tells you the path name, click on it to open that directory). some of the code will come out in the next couple of months too (e.g. Its a new feature, so start collecting/recording data now and it will be more useful in the future. swimmers/triathletes record lots of stuff).Īt present we don't do a lot with it, but there are developments in the works to show it on a calendar, filter/search workouts when charting, and customising the ride summary to show whatever you want. We did that so non-cyclists can use it for whatever (e.g. So yes, customising the fields allows you to record whatever you want. Once I customise stuff is there a way to save it in the case of a crash or a desire to use the same setup on a different computer as well? I'm running away with it a bit already as I'm prone to do but I'd like to give some thought to how best to set this up as a full log. I assume that if I add a totally new field somewhere then its possible to customise some form of report to show it as well? eg show all rides where motivation was <5/10 etc or where sleep was rated as 1 etc? Presumably all the fields such as 'workout code' etc can be used for whatever I want to record about the type of workout I'm doing? I now see how I can add additional fields to each workout where i could log additional data about sleep, weather, general feeling of fatigue, motivation etc etc. German (Tilman Schmiedeberg) Italian (Marco Piccirilli) Japanese (Okano Takayoshi) Spanish (Alejandro Martinez) Ĭhange Pace metric to follow metric/imperial units as configuredĪutomatic CdA and Crr Estimation in AerolabĪdd es and pt translation files set lang default according to system defaultĮnable metrics translations The code setting metric names and units was moved from constructors to an initialize method, to be called after translator initialization.and now I get how to I can tailor GC a little more to better use it as a workout log.
